Google is just days away from unveiling the Pixel 10 lineup, and the leaks have already painted a clear picture of what to expect at the August 20th Made by Google event.

The show kicks off at 10 am PT / 1 pm ET, live from New York, with preorders likely to open right after. Standard Pixel 10 models could ship by the end of August, while the new Pixel 10 Pro Fold may arrive later in October due to tighter supply.

The hardware list looks stacked: four phones (Pixel 10, 10 Pro, 10 Pro XL, and the Fold), a Pixel Watch 4, new Pixel Buds, and even a set of magnetic “PixelSnap” accessories that lean into Qi2 wireless charging.

Design-wise, the Pixel 10 doesn’t mess with Google’s formula. The camera bar is back, joined by fresh colors like Indigo, Frost, and Limoncello on the regular models, while the Pro line gets more muted shades like Jade and Porcelain. The Fold appears limited to Moonstone and Jade—no Obsidian black option this time.

Under the hood, every model runs on the new Tensor G5 chip, built on TSMC’s 3nm process. That should bring better power efficiency, improved AI throughput, and smoother heat management—an area where earlier Tensor chips lagged. The standard Pixel 10 finally gets a telephoto lens, moving it into triple-camera territory, while the Fold is shaping up to be the spec monster: dual 3000-nit displays (6.4-inch cover, 8-inch inside), a 5015 mAh battery, up to 1TB of storage, 16GB of RAM, and a Titan M2 security chip.

One of the most interesting upgrades is durability. The Pixel 10 Pro Fold is rumored to carry an IP68 rating—something no other foldable has nailed yet. Charging also gets a long overdue bump: 60W wired charging across the board, and magnetic Qi2 wireless on the Fold with accessory tie-ins.

On the software side, Android 16 and Google’s Gemini AI will drive new features like Camera Coach, a more powerful Live Translate, and deeper on-device processing. Google is promising seven years of updates, which would put it toe-to-toe with Apple’s support window.

It’s shaping up to be Google’s most ambitious launch yet: a refined mainline Pixel, its first truly water-resistant foldable, and a stronger ecosystem play with wearables and accessories. We’ll see how much of this holds true when the event streams live in three days.
