One UI 6 Beta 3 Update for Samsung Galaxy S23 Introduces User Control Over App Updates

The One UI 6 Beta 3 update for the Samsung Galaxy S23 introduces a welcome enhancement, affording users greater control over which system apps update alongside Android updates. In previous iterations, all system apps would update automatically as part of the Android update package.

However, this latest feature empowers users to selectively choose which specific system apps they want to update. This level of control is conveniently accessible within the Software Update section, allowing users to cherry-pick the apps they'd like to update automatically, while retaining the option to manually update others if preferred.

It's important to note that, despite this newfound flexibility, some apps might still update automatically based on individual settings configured in the Google Play Store or Galaxy Store. Overall, this addition to the One UI 6 Beta 3 update seeks to enhance the Android OS update process by putting more choice in the hands of Galaxy S23 users.
