Samsung Announces Galaxy Unpacked Event for January 17, 2024, to Launch Galaxy S24 Series

Samsung has revealed that its first Galaxy Unpacked event of 2024 is scheduled for January 17, marking a departure from the usual February launch timeline for its flagship Galaxy S series. The event, which will take place at the SAP Center in San Jose, California, will be live-streamed on Samsung's Newsroom site and YouTube channel. 

The announcement introduces the Galaxy S24 series, comprising the Galaxy S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra, with a tagline suggesting a strong focus on artificial intelligence: "Galaxy AI is coming." This indicates that Samsung is set to introduce innovative AI-powered features, aligning with the industry trend of enhancing smartphone capabilities through intelligent technologies.

In addition to the early event announcement, Samsung has initiated a reservation program for the Galaxy S24 series in India, allowing interested users to secure the new handsets promptly upon availability. The move indicates Samsung's strategic approach to building anticipation and generating early interest in its upcoming flagship devices. 

The leak of specifications for the Galaxy S24 series includes details such as Android 14-based One UI 6.1, AMOLED LTPO displays with variable refresh rates, and advanced camera setups.
