This flagship mobile processor is set to power Chinese brand handsets for global markets in 2024, boasting impressive core configuration and advanced features, establishing itself as MediaTek's most potent offering to date.
The Dimensity 9300 showcases an innovative "all-big core architecture" with eight cores, including four ARM Cortex-X4 cores and a cluster of Arm Cortex-A710 cores optimized for lighter tasks. This unique architecture achieves a remarkable peak performance increase of up to 40%, surpassing its predecessor, the Dimensity 9200, by 15% in performance at the same power level or delivering a power-saving of 33% while maintaining similar performance levels.
In the realm of AI capabilities, the Dimensity 9300 integrates the APU 790 AI engine, doubling AI performance while maintaining energy efficiency. This AI engine excels in producing visual media and supports large language models with an impressive 13 billion parameters, exceeding Qualcomm's limitation of 10 billion parameters.
