Google is testing a revamped version of Google Finance in the United States, adding AI tools, advanced charts, and a real-time news feed. The update is rolling out gradually, and users can switch between the classic and new interface for now.

The redesign includes an AI chatbot that answers finance-related questions with quick summaries and helpful links. Charts are more advanced too—think candlestick patterns and technical indicators, not just line graphs. A live news feed is also baked in, pulling real-time market updates right into the page.

It’s part of Google’s broader push to weave AI into its products. Search now supports interactive stock charts powered by Gemini, and the company’s investing billions—reportedly over $75 billion—into building the AI infrastructure behind it all.

This version of Google Finance feels more like a full-on market terminal, but still simple enough for casual investors. It's smarter, faster, and finally catching up to the rest of Google’s AI-first direction.
