Samsung's upcoming Galaxy Z Fold7 is rumored to feature a 200-megapixel main camera, a substantial upgrade from the 50-megapixel sensor found in the Galaxy Z Fold6. This 200-megapixel sensor is the same one used in the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition, which launched in Korea and China last year, and is also found in the Galaxy S25 Ultra.
In addition to the main camera upgrade, improvements to the under-display camera (UDC) are also anticipated, potentially enhancing the quality of selfies and video calls. However, other camera specifications are expected to remain consistent with the previous model.
Beyond camera enhancements, the Galaxy Z Fold7 is rumored to be thinner than its predecessor, measuring 4.5mm when unfolded, compared to the Galaxy Z Fold6's 5.6mm thickness. The device is also expected to feature an 8.2-inch internal screen, a 6.5-inch external screen, and a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor.
Samsung is anticipated to unveil the Galaxy Z Fold7 alongside the Galaxy Z Flip7 in July 2025.
