Google is holding a hardware launch event on August 13, two months ahead of its usual schedule, and it's expected to reveal the Pixel 9 family. This will be the biggest Pixel series ever, with the Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, Pixel 9 Pro XL, and Pixel 9 Pro Fold offering a range of high-end options.
Pricing for these devices in France has been leaked. The Pixel 9 will be available in Obsidian (black), Porcelain (white), Cosmo, and Mojito. The Pixel 9 will be priced at €899 for the 128GB model and €999 for the 256GB model. The Pixel 9 Pro, which features more cameras, will start at €1,099 for 128GB, €1,199 for 256GB, and €1,329 for 512GB. The top version will be available in Obsidian and Hazel, while the other models also get Porcelain and Pink (Cosmo).
The Pixel 9 Pro XL, a larger version of the Pixel 9 Pro, will start at €1,199 for 128GB, €1,299 for 256GB, €1,429 for 512GB, and €1,689 for 1TB. The 1TB version will only be available in Obsidian, the 128GB and 512GB models in Obsidian, Porcelain, and Hazel, and the 256GB model in Obsidian, Porcelain, Hazel, and Pink.
The Pixel 9 Pro Fold, the successor to the original Pixel Fold, will be priced at €1,899 for 256GB and €2,029 for 512GB, available in Obsidian and Porcelain only.
As with all pricing leaks in euros, different VAT levels might create small variations across the EU. The Pixel 8 was €100 cheaper for the 128GB iteration when it launched, and €140 cheaper for the 256GB version. The Pixel 9 Pro is similarly priced to the Pixel 8 Pro in its base model, with the 256GB version €30 more and the 512GB model €40 more. The Pixel 9 Pro XL, the true successor to the Pixel 8 Pro, is at least €100 more expensive than its predecessor.

While these prices won't necessarily translate directly into other currencies, it stands to reason that those unchanged from last year for the EU will stay the same in other markets, and those that went up will also increase globally.
