Unofficial renders reveal Samsung's Galaxy Z Fold 6, featuring a sleek angular design and familiar features, ahead of its anticipated launch in July

Leaked unofficial renders of Samsung's forthcoming Galaxy Z Fold 6 have emerged, offering an intriguing peek into the anticipated flagship foldable smartphone's design. Shared by SmartPrix and OnLeaks, these images showcase a departure from the rounded edges seen in its predecessor, the Galaxy Z Fold 5, in favor of a more angular design reminiscent of the Galaxy S24 Ultra.

Reportedly, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 is expected to measure 153.5 x 132.5 x 6.1mm when unfolded, making it marginally shorter and wider than its predecessor. The device purportedly boasts a 7.6-inch inner screen and a front cover display measuring around 6.2 inches, promising users an expansive canvas for multitasking and immersive content consumption.

Despite the design overhaul, several familiar features from the Galaxy Z Fold 5 remain intact in the renders, including the triple-camera setup on the rear. The top of the device houses three microphones and a speaker grill, while the bottom features another microphone, speaker grill, and USB-C port. Furthermore, the volume controls and power button remain situated on the right side, with the SIM card slot positioned on the left.

While Samsung has yet to formally unveil specifications for the Galaxy Z Fold 6, speculation is rife that the device will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy chipset. Memory options are anticipated to include 12GB and 16GB, with storage capacities of up to 1TB. Both screens are likely to feature OLED displays with a fluid 120Hz refresh rate. The rumored triple-camera setup is said to comprise a 50-megapixel primary sensor, a 12-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a 10-megapixel telephoto lens, complemented by a 10-megapixel front-facing camera.

While concrete details are still forthcoming, excitement is building for Samsung's upcoming Unpacked event in July, where the Galaxy Z Fold 6 is speculated to take center stage alongside the launch of the Galaxy Ring. Until then, tech enthusiasts will eagerly await further insights and official disclosures from Samsung regarding its latest flagship foldable smartphone.
