Samsung is set to unveil its latest Bespoke 4-Door Flex Refrigerator with AI Family Hub+ at CES 2024, showcasing an array of new AI features that elevate the concept of smart refrigerators. One of the standout features is the AI Vision Inside, which utilizes internal cameras to intelligently identify food items as they are added or removed from the fridge. The Vision AI technology accurately recognizes 33 different fresh foods, allowing users to create a customizable ingredient list displayed on the fridge's 32-inch LCD screen.
The ingredient list, synchronized with the Samsung Food app, enables users to explore recipes, order ingredients, and receive notifications about expiring items. The new "Image-to-Recipe" feature leverages enhanced Vision AI to recognize meals and multiple food items from photographs, suggesting dishes that can be prepared with available ingredients.
The Bespoke 4-Door Flex Refrigerator also introduces the Personalize AI feature, allowing users to adapt recipes to suit dietary preferences, including vegan, gluten-free, pescatarian, dairy-free, and other options. The level of customization is granular, providing flexibility in meal planning. Additionally, the refrigerator integrates with Samsung Health, offering AI-powered nutrition planning through the Tailored Meal Plan feature. This feature analyzes health information to create personalized meal plans based on individual health needs, such as goals to reduce fat or increase protein intake.
While the Bespoke 4-Door Flex Refrigerator with AI Family Hub+ does not yet have a release date or price, it is expected to make its debut at CES 2024 in Las Vegas from January 9th to 12th. The refrigerator's emphasis on AI-driven food recognition, personalized recipes, and nutrition planning positions it as a compelling addition to smart home ecosystems, transforming the kitchen experience for users.
