Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra Secures NBTC Certification, Nearing Official Launch

Samsung's highly anticipated flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S24 Ultra, has achieved another milestone on its journey to the official launch. The device has successfully secured certification from Thailand's National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC), a notable testing and certification body for telecommunication devices.

Revealed through NBTC certification, the Galaxy S24 Ultra bears the model number SM-S928B/DS, denoting its global variant with a dual-SIM card slot. The certification further highlights the phone's connectivity support, encompassing 5G, 4G LTE, 3G, and 2G technologies. With multiple certifications already in place, the impending launch of the Galaxy S24 Ultra appears imminent.

Recent leaks of the Galaxy S24 Ultra's design showcase a 6.8-inch display with a nearly flat surface and a remarkable peak brightness of up to 2,500 nits. Reports suggest the phone may feature a titanium frame variant and is anticipated to boast an IP68 rating, stereo speakers, and an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint reader. The device is expected to house the powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 For Galaxy processor, offering configurations of 12GB/16GB RAM and up to 1TB storage.
