Samsung Teases Slimmer and Lighter Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Flip 5 Foldable Phones Ahead of July 26th Unveiling

Samsung is gearing up for its Unpacked event scheduled for July 26th, where the company is set to unveil a range of new devices, including foldable smartphones, tablets, and smartwatches. The president and head of Samsung Electronics' mobile communications business, TM Roh, recently teased some key details about the forthcoming Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5 foldable phones. 

In a blog post, Roh mentioned that Samsung has focused on enhancing the "Design Identities" of its devices, emphasizing their Essential, Innovative, and Harmonious qualities. He revealed that the new foldables would be "slimmer and lighter" than their predecessors, indicating the company's dedication to improving foldable smartphone ergonomics. 

Samsung is likely to achieve this by implementing a new hinge design to reduce weight and eliminate the hinge gap present in previous models. This development aims to offer users a more comfortable and refined foldable device experience.
