In 2022, Huawei introduced the original MatePad SE as an affordable yet feature-packed device. Fast forward to 2024, and we have the MatePad SE 11, expanding on its predecessor's success.
As the name suggests, the MatePad SE 11 sports an 11-inch LCD display with a FullHD+ resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels, maintaining a modern 16:10 aspect ratio. Notably, the screen-to-body ratio has been enhanced to 85%, resulting in slimmer bezels. With a peak brightness of 400 nits, it ensures decent visibility indoors, complemented by a 1400:1 contrast ratio, 16.7 million colors, full sRGB color space coverage, and a specialized eBook mode for optimal reading experiences.
Measuring at 252.3 x 163.8 x 6.9mm and weighing 475 grams, the MatePad SE 11 features a metal body, available in Crystal Blue and Nebula Gray color options. It is equipped with either a Kirin 710A or Snapdragon 680 chipset, depending on the region, and runs HarmonyOS 2.0. Notable software features include multi-window support, multi-screen collaboration, seamless data transfer, and screen sharing. Storage options range from 64GB to 128GB, with RAM configurations of 4GB, 6GB, and 8GB.
Powering the device is a 7,700 mAh battery with 22.5W fast charging support. Audio quality is enriched by a quad-speaker Huawei Histen 9.0 system, ensuring immersive sound experiences. Connectivity options include dual-band Wi-Fi ac, Bluetooth 5.1, and a Type-C port with Host/OTG support. Additionally, the MatePad SE 11 comes with an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front-facing camera. Stylus enthusiasts will appreciate the stylus support (Huawei M-Pen lite) for writing, drawing, and note-taking, alongside gravity and ambient light sensors.
