As the year draws to a close, Samsung is gearing up for the launch of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 variant of the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE in India. A promotional banner has made its appearance on Flipkart, bearing the tagline "The New Epic" for the Galaxy S23 FE. The product page for the Snapdragon variant is already live on the platform. While Samsung has not officially announced the launch, the presence of the promotional material on Flipkart strongly suggests an imminent release. Although details regarding availability are yet to be disclosed, the Purple Color variant with 128GB storage and 8GB RAM is currently listed on the e-retailer in India.
The Samsung Galaxy S23 FE boasts a 6.3-inch Dynamic AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels and a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate. The display features an in-screen fingerprint scanner for secure authentication. The smartphone houses a triple-rear camera module, comprising a 50MP primary sensor with OIS, a 12MP ultra-wide lens, and an 8MP telephoto lens with OIS support. For stunning selfies, there is a 10MP front-facing camera nestled in the punch hole.
Under the hood, the device is equipped with 8GB of RAM and runs on Android 13, with Samsung committing to providing 4 years of OS updates and 5 years of security patches. It packs a robust 4,500mAh battery, supporting 25W wired charging and 15W fast wireless charging. The available color options are Mint, Graphite, and Purple. While the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 variant largely shares specifications with the Exynos version, it features the Qualcomm SM8450 Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset found in the Galaxy S22, along with the Adreno 730 GPU.
