Latest Leaks Suggest Notable Camera Upgrades for the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra

Rumors surrounding the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra are intensifying, and the latest leak provides insights into its camera capabilities, suggesting notable upgrades. According to leaker Ahmed Qwaider, the Galaxy S24 Ultra is expected to retain a familiar four-camera layout, with a 200MP main sensor, a 12MP ultrawide lens, and two telephoto lenses—a 10MP and a 50MP. The rear cameras are rumored to support smooth 8K video recording with 5x optical zoom to ensure stability. This is an improvement over the S23 Ultra, which relies on digital zoom for 8K recording.

Qwaider's leaks also suggest portrait mode with 5x zoom and enhanced stabilization in various lighting conditions. Additionally, both front and rear cameras are said to benefit from an AI-powered "object-aware engine," although specific details about its functionality remain unclear. Another leak hints at a partnership between Samsung and Meta (Facebook and Instagram) to enhance image and video quality when shared on these platforms. Users might be able to directly post HDR images and videos on Facebook and Instagram from the Galaxy S24 Ultra.

The upcoming smartphone is expected to feature a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, a titanium body for improved toughness, and a 6.8-inch QHD+ LTPO (1-120Hz) AMOLED display. The device is rumored to be available in Titanium Black, Titanium Gray, Titanium Violet, and Titanium Yellow color options. While the official launch date remains undisclosed, these leaks suggest promising enhancements for the Galaxy S24 Ultra.
