Samsung Galaxy S23 Series Receives November 2023 Security Update in India and Europe

Samsung has rolled out the November 2023 security update for the Galaxy S23 series in certain countries. While some countries received the new security patch as part of the stable One UI 6.0 update, others are now receiving the November 2023 security update separately.

Available in India and Europe, the update carries firmware version S91xBXXS3BWK and focuses on fixing approximately 65 security flaws present in the previous software version. With a download size of around 338MB, the update does not introduce new features or performance improvements. Additionally, there are no reported changes to widget opening and closing animations.

Users with a Galaxy S23 series phone in Europe or India can check for the update by going to Settings » Software update and selecting Download and install. Alternatively, they can download the firmware file from Samsung's firmware database to manually flash it using a Windows PC and the Odin tool.

While Samsung is still pending the release of the stable One UI 6.0 update in certain markets, including South Korea, it is expected to be available globally over the next few weeks. The company also plans to release the stable Android 14 update for other high-end phones before the end of the year, including the Galaxy S21, Galaxy S22, Galaxy Z Flip 3, Galaxy Z Flip 4, Galaxy Z Flip 5, Galaxy Z Fold 3, Galaxy Z Fold 4, and Galaxy Z Fold 5.
