Xiaomi is making progress in preparing for the launch of its 14 series smartphones, with the Pro model recently receiving certification from 3C (Chinese Compulsory Certification). This certification confirms the device's compatibility with 120W wired charging, matching its predecessors.
The Xiaomi 14 Pro's certification marks an important step toward its market release, following successful mandatory testing. While the standard Xiaomi 14 will feature 90W charging, an improvement over the previous 13 series, the Pro variant will retain the powerful 120W charging.
The Xiaomi 14 series is anticipated to debut in November, closely following Qualcomm's announcement of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset on October 24. Xiaomi aims to align its flagship releases with China's popular shopping holiday, Singles' Day, celebrated on November 11. The company is likely to target local consumers during this spending spree, although an international launch may take some time. Historically, Xiaomi's previous series required over two months to transition from a local to a global release, and a similar timeline is expected for the Xiaomi 14 lineup.
