iQOO has officially announced the launch of the Neo9 Pro in India, scheduled for February. This smartphone, a successor to the iQOO Neo7 Pro, which was launched in India the previous year, was recently introduced in China as the iQOO Neo9. The company has teased several key features of the Neo9 Pro, including a dual-tone design, premium vegan leather finish, a unique squircle camera module, and the inclusion of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, an upgrade from the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 featured in the Neo7 Pro.
Additionally, the company hinted at the possibility of launching a standard version with a glass back, featuring a smooth matte finish. The iQOO Neo9 Pro boasts a 6.78-inch 1.5K 1-144Hz LTPO AMOLED display with various advanced features such as 2160Hz high-frequency PWM dimming and a peak brightness of 1400 nits. The phone also incorporates a Sony IMX920 VCS sensor with OIS for its primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, a 16MP front camera, and is equipped with a 5160mAh dual-cell battery supporting 120W fast charging, capable of charging from 1% to 40% in just 9 minutes.
The iQOO Neo9 Pro will be made available through Amazon.in, following the distribution pattern of other iQOO smartphones in India.
