Oppo Find X7 Pro's Camera Setup Leaked: A Quad-Camera Powerhouse with Dual Periscope Telephoto Lenses and World's First 50MP Sony LYT-900 Sensor

Oppo is gearing up to unveil its highly anticipated Find X7 series, with the flagship Find X7 Pro expected to debut in January 2024 in China. Recent leaks have shed light on the extraordinary camera setup of the Find X7 Pro, promising groundbreaking features that could redefine smartphone photography.

The rear camera system is showcased in a schematic, revealing a quad-camera arrangement on the Find X7 Pro. The top camera is rumored to be an impressive 50-megapixel Sony IMX858 periscope telephoto camera, featuring a 1/2.51-inch sensor size and optical image stabilization (OIS). This powerhouse is expected to support up to 6x optical zoom, delivering exceptional zoom capabilities for users.

Positioned at the center of the camera module is another remarkable 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 periscope telephoto camera, equipped with a 1/1.56-inch lens and boasting 3x optical zoom, coupled with OIS. This dual periscope telephoto setup underscores Oppo's commitment to delivering top-tier imaging experiences on its flagship device.

Further elevating the Find X7 Pro's camera capabilities, Oppo is set to introduce the world's first 50-megapixel Sony LYT-900, a one-inch camera. This represents a significant advancement, likely a refined version of the existing Sony IMX989 one-inch camera, promising unprecedented clarity and detail in primary shots.

Complementing the one-inch camera, another 50-megapixel sensor, potentially the LYT-600, is anticipated to handle ultra-wide shots. This holistic approach to the camera system positions the Find X7 Pro as a photography powerhouse, potentially setting new benchmarks in the smartphone camera landscape.

While details about the front camera are yet to emerge, speculation suggests the retention of the 32-megapixel selfie snapper found on the Find X6 Pro. As for the device's internals, the Find X7 is anticipated to feature the Dimensity 9300 SoC, while the Pro variant is likely to boast the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset.

Additionally, intriguing rumors surround the existence of a Find X7 Ultra variant. Whether this is a rebranded Pro model or an entirely distinct offering remains uncertain. As Oppo's Find X7 series prepares to make its debut, the emphasis on groundbreaking camera technology positions it as a potential game-changer, catering to the demands of photography enthusiasts and tech aficionados alike.
