NVIDIA Announces Price Increase for GeForce Now Cloud Gaming Service in Canada and Europe

NVIDIA has announced a price increase for its cloud gaming service, GeForce Now, in Canada and Europe starting on November 1. The price adjustments are attributed to increased operational costs in these regions. Here are some of the changes by tier and currency:

Canada:
  • Priority Tier (formerly $10): Increases to $14 per month.
  • Ultimate Tier (with access to RTX 4080 GPUs, 240 fps gameplay, and hardware-based ray tracing): Increases by $6 to $26 per month.

United Kingdom:
  • Ultimate Tier: Increases by £2 to the new price.

Europe:
  • Ultimate Tier: Increases by €2 to the new price.
The exact amount of the increase depends on your specific region. However, users can lock in the existing pricing for the next six months by purchasing a 6-month membership before November 1. It's important to note that a 6-month Ultimate membership will cost more after the price adjustments take effect.

NVIDIA is also offering users the opportunity to purchase membership gift cards at the current prices within the next few weeks. Although gift card pricing will be adjusted after November 1, any cards purchased at the current rates will be honored, even if redeemed at a later date.

Notably, the price hikes do not apply to "Founder" members who were early adopters of the service. Founder members can continue paying their current subscription rates.
