iQOO 12 and iQOO 12 Pro: Early Glimpse and Exciting Features of Vivo's Upcoming Flagship

iQOO fans have reason to celebrate as Vivo's gaming-focused smartphone brand prepares to launch its new flagship lineup. The iQOO 12 and iQOO 12 Pro are set to debut in China in early November, and while the official launch is still pending, some details and images have surfaced ahead of time.

iQOO 12's Back Design: A hands-on image shared on social media platform Weibo reveals the back design of the iQOO 12. The phone features a white color option with a prominent circular camera module at the rear. The image also confirms that the power and volume keys will be located on the right edge of the device.

Color Options: The iQOO 12 is expected to offer a White color variant, as seen in the hands-on image, along with a Black glass version and a Red Vegan leather option. These color options have been confirmed by various sources, including Digital Chat Station and tipster Panda is Bald. However, there is no mention of a BMW edition for this year, so these three colorways are the ones currently confirmed.

Specifications: While the hands-on image doesn't reveal the complete camera module, it is known that the iQOO 12 will feature a triple-camera setup. This includes a 50 MP primary camera, a 50 MP ultrawide snapper, and a 64 MP telephoto sensor. The main camera will utilize an OmniVision OV50H sensor with Optical Image Stabilization. The other cameras will make use of OmniVision OV64B and Samsung's JN1 sensors.

The iQOO 12 is expected to feature a 6.7-inch E7 AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a 144 Hz refresh rate. It will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and will have a 4,800 mAh battery with up to 120W fast-charging support. RAM options may go up to 24 GB, and the internal storage could reach 1 TB.

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 is set to be officially launched soon, and the iQOO 12 series might be among the first smartphones to feature this new chipset.

In conclusion, the hands-on image provides a sneak peek at the upcoming iQOO 12, which appears to maintain the brand's traditional design focus on hardware and performance. With the official launch scheduled for November, more details are expected to emerge as the launch date approaches. The iQOO series is known for delivering strong performance, and it remains to be seen if the iQOO 12 and iQOO 12 Pro will live up to this legacy.
