Xiaomi is gearing up to launch its highly anticipated 14 series of smartphones by the end of 2023, and they've already received certification for one of these devices from the Chinese Compulsory Certification (CCC). The certified phone, bearing the model number 23127PN0CC, is believed to be the standard Xiaomi 14 model and comes with support for blazing-fast 90W charging.
It's worth mentioning that Xiaomi had previously adopted a strategy of excluding chargers from their smartphone packages, offering them only in international markets for the Xiaomi 13. In China, customers had the option to purchase the charger separately. However, the move to 90W charging for the vanilla Xiaomi 14 is a significant upgrade compared to its predecessors, which featured 67W wired charging. Xiaomi's Pro series, including the 13 Pro and 12 Pro, even boasted charging speeds of up to 120W.
As for the Xiaomi 14 Pro, it remains to be seen whether Xiaomi will further enhance its charging capabilities, but more details on this flagship device are expected to surface in the near future.
