Roblox's Expansion: Coming to PS4 and PS5 in October 2023, Meta Quest App Widely Available in September

Roblox, the popular social and gaming platform, revealed during its 2023 Roblox Developers Conference (RDC) that it will be available on PlayStation consoles, specifically the PS4 and PS5, starting in October. Although Roblox is already accessible on various platforms such as PC, Mac, iOS, Android, and Xbox, its absence on Sony's consoles has been noticeable. 

This move comes after hints in a 2022 job listing and comments by CEO David Baszucki about expanding to PlayStation and Nintendo Switch. Roblox promises that PlayStation users will have access to the entire catalog of Roblox experiences, enabling them to seamlessly enjoy their favorite activities. 

While there are no immediate plans for a Nintendo Switch launch, the company suggests that more platforms could be in the pipeline. 

Additionally, the Meta Quest Roblox app will become widely available in September, and upgrades are in store for the Xbox app, ensuring an improved user experience and frequent updates.
