FTC has lost it's last chance to block Microsoft's acquisition of Activision Blizzard

The FTC or Federal Trade Commission has lost it's last chance to block Microsoft's acquisition of Activision Blizzard. It's the second loss for FTC after a US federal judge denied it's request for a preliminary injunction earlier this week to block Microsoft from acquiring Activision Blizzard until the conclusion of a separate FTC administrative case.

Which clearly indicates that Microsoft is free now to close the Blizzard acquisition deal after a temporary restraining order. As from the informers, Microsoft has time till 18 July to close the deal otherwise the company would forced to renegotiate terms with Activision.

Apart from getting the FTC's approval Microsoft might still not be able to close the deal immediately as the complicated matter of the deal is blocked in the UK by 'The Competition and Markets Authority'.
