Intel announces Xeon W-3400 and W-2600 workstation processors

Intel announces Xeon W-3400 and W-2600 workstation processors code named as Sapphire Rapids. These new processors provide extreme performance required by workstations and professionals. 

The new Intel Xeon supports DDR5 RDIMM memory, PCIe Gen 5.0, and Wi-Fi 6E.

The Intel Xeon W-3400 and W-2400 workstation processors are available for pre-order and will be available for system use from March 2023.

Intel® Xeon® W-3200 Processors

Fast visualization, simulation, and rendering with up to 28 AVX-512 enabled cores, 56 threads, 4.6 GHz, 2 TB DDR4 RDIMM in a single-socket solution. Enable more I/O throughput for networking, graphics, and storage with 64 processor PCIe* lanes for a total of up to 84 platform PCIe* lanes.

Intel® Xeon® W-2200 Processors

Fast visualization, simulation, and rendering with up to 18 AVX-512 enabled cores, 36 threads, and 1 TB DDR4 memory in a single-socket solution. Enable more I/O throughput for networking, graphics, and storage with 48 processor PCIe* lanes for a total of up to 72 platform PCIe* lanes.
